Song of the Islands (1942) is a musical comedy directed by Walter Lang and starring Betty Grable, Victor Mature and Jack Oakie. The film follows Jeff Harper, who sails to the tropical isle of Ahmi-Oni with his sidekick Rusty to negotiate a land deal on behalf of his cattle baron father. There, Jeff falls in love with Eileen O'Brien, the daughter of landowner Dennis O'Brien, leading to romantic entanglements and cultural clashes.
