Bright red, big-buttoned and built like a toy, the WM-F3030 was Sony’s way of getting kids hooked on cassettes early. Part of the “My First Sony” lineup, this 1988 player was designed to be simple enough for small hands but still packed with real functionality — AM/FM radio, standard cassette playback and manual tuning.
One of the coolest design choices? A clear window on the back that shows off the colorful internals. It runs on two AA batteries and works just like any grown-up Walkman, only way more fun to look at.
